This project is one of my very own concepts, created based on a requirement of my own and my close friends. Before Covid-19 and subsequent travel restrictions, I along with my friends would travel quite often and visit various eateries. What we noticed is, no matter how many apps there are, sometimes we always miss what we always want to try.

Restourist - a simple, light and small application that is purely made to track restaurants, users have visited and where they want to visit next.

My goal was to keep the functionality as easy and quick as possible. When a user sees a restaurant or even thinks about one, they will not spend minutes to note it down. Restourist makes it super simple to add a restaurant to one of your lists by simply searching the name and adding it to a list. All lists are presented all the time, which saves time for the users while looking for a particular restaurant.

Since the app is small and the functionality is limited, I wanted to make it fun and useful at the same time.

The addition of animations made the user experience more lively and interesting. Features such as 'Add information' about each restaurant along with general and user rating were added to make the application useful.
